Don't fall for scams.

Don't be so gullible in everything you see online saying you'll win free stuff.
Don't give out your email/facebook/any information so easily.

If you do not follow two simple rules, you will/might :
-lose your account
-get your identity stolen
-open up your social website/email account for people to send spam to their msn/facebook in return causing your gullible friends to do the same mistake as you did.
-be ridiculed indirectly by me and everyone else

Below is taken from a note from my facebook.

To those that joined the "SONY PLAYSTATION3 GIVEAWAY PROMOTION" group, notice the steps, specifically part 2 when mentions.
2) On the bottom left of this page there is a little button that says "Share"... Click it, and hit "Share" when it pops up. This allows the Dislike feature to be used on all of your friends' pages.
Seems like a scam to me.

Not to mention the rule where you have to invite ALL your friends in order to access a very sketchy website to register.
Do yourselves and all your friends who aren't interested a favor. STOP FALLING FOR SCAMS SUCH AS THESE.

Such scams send spam to your friends; on facebook, on msn, emails and etc. Even worse, it can wipe out everything on your computer by means of a virus.

How about the "I WON'T PAY $$$ TO USE FACEBOOK" group?
Where in the world did you hear that facebook's starting to charge? Do you believe everything on the internet because it is? If a Nigerian prince emailed you that he is going to send you $1million to your bank account will you give him all your bank information? (Well someone was dumb enough to fall for it. Go look it up).

STOP WITH THE ATTACKING OF RELIGIOUS LOCATIONS!!

I condemn any attacks on religious buildings/locations.

I've read news that Mosques/suraus has been attacked recently. A bunch of conspiracy theories has surfaced.

I try not to say this. But I will now since both sides (and a Sikh temple/church) has fallen victim to arsonists.

"THIS is (one of the reasons) why Malaysia is still a third world country"

House size/shape?

Have you ever wondered how your future home will be?
Will it be a typical square/rectangle shaped home with corners? Or will it be spherical?
I've seen concept spherical homes and it seems much more spacious and comfy/homey than houses with corners (interior wise).

Avatar madness

I'm tired of all these references of Avatar almost every where.

Some kid who got sucked in between two escalators was stuck there for a significant amount of time was rescued and his life was saved. His parents wanted to sue the shopping mall for the damages (The parents should be sued instead for leaving a child unattended). The boy's photos were taken and his face is all blue and eyes are red (bloody red) since his blood was unable to circulate. Then BAM, his dad was quoted mentioning, "He looks like he came out of the movie AVATAR....His skin blue" (or something like that).

In another news, people are having depression over the realism of the world of Avatar. Why? It's because they can't believe the world doesn't exist. Someone even committed suicide because of this....

And finally, my own country's ex-prime minister, mentioned on how 9/11 was staged by the US to instill hate amongst the muslim community. Yea everything seems okay until he mentioned the movie 'Avatar'. Why mention it? He wanted to reference how technology can make anything seem real.

That said, I've had enough of news and product placements involving Avatar. Just like how I can't stand hearing about Susan Boyle almost everywhere in a few days after she appeared on Britain's Got Talent.

Facebook suspect is a LIE!!!

The previous post I made about the supposed criminal was a hoax made by the individual according to the cops.

Then again, somehow it's very hard to trust cops when you expect a different result. Somehow you get the feeling that he is being protected.

Why? Seeing that this situation right now in the country is rather unstable, making such claims on facebook could've ignited more cases. Not to mention cause hate amongst his friends for doing such a despicable act if he really did it.

My question now is, his post on facebook is a very serious one, why is the only punishment he got was 'a stern warning'? The government has stressed in the news to take action on those who threatens national security (through ISA) but all this 25year old recent father got was a 'stern warning' over his actions.

"If you're not prepared to do the time,
don't pretend to do the crime"

I say at the age of 25, he should be more responsible for his actions and mature enough not to post such a thing. Such sensitive topic is not a joking matter. You're just gonna make people hate you. Yes, just like that cartoonist who drew the picture of Muhammad. Til now he's still getting death threats and assault attempts.

Extremists/radicals/hooligans tend think they're above the law when their religion is threatened.

Again, a reminder from my last post, "Be careful what you post online"

Update : He has deleted his facebook account completely...

Update 2: He has been charged. Well now, he finally got what he deserves for "attempting to create public unrest"

Anyone can become a detective using facebook and google.

As the title says,

Taken from the 'News article link above',
"A check for his name through the social networking search engine did not provide any match."

Try google next time.
His fan pages includes a company's name which was noticed by others. Hrmmm could be his workplace.

The video link below shows how to access his 'Profile' since he had changed his name

Above video is the screenshot taken of the supposed/suspected "extremist" responsible/who helped with one (or more) of the attempted arson of the 8 churches. To those that don't understand, the video shows that the name of the offender when searched in facebook can no longer be found. But by using google and inputting the name, his profile can again be found (he changed his name).

Now the person in the video is linking the names from the conversation to his friends list. Offender's name found along with accomplices name.

Note to self : Be careful what you post online. Everyone can see it. You can't erase it. You can't hide. It can be used against you....

PS : This reminds me of the SouthPark episode where 'terrorists' was found/investigated using these social websites (MySpace, AskJeeves, Google, MapQuest... etc). What I thought was a joke is becoming a reality.

7 total attacks on Churches...

Miri Church makes it 7

JUST when I thought East Malaysia is peaceful and not influenced by the hooligans in West Malaysia.....

Home Minister said "Things are under control..."
Should they be under control, these attacks SHOULDN'T be occurring. Not to mention the Malaysian police force announcing that they're short handed in protecting churches. Kinda contradicting some of the past incidents....
