Weird dream : Cultist

2 guys and a girl snatch theft a female friend of mine
I chased them through the woods in the snow
Chased them out of the fair compound
Ended up outside of an old looking building
Entered it and found myself speaking to an old man who seems like a philosopher
He explained why he tried to steal the bag of the girl
Says in it is a precious jewelry of immense power
He showed me two books which seems dated to the 1900s which depicts the life and wrath of God
Says that his spirit is saved onto the stone and that he has been known to take sacrifices.
Without me knowing I drank from a drugged flask while talking to the man and somehow woken up when I blacked out in my dreams....

.....Diablo?

Nexus 4 vs Galaxy Note II

So I have been using my Nexus S for almost exactly 2 years now.
Back in December 2010 I purchased for myself the Google Nexus S, my first smartphone/ touchscreen phone.
After 2 years of stock gingerbread, ICS and finally Jellybean, Google has called it quits for the Android updates for my device. Heck, I've had a few problems with the phone (slow, battery issues, capacitive buttons). Figured it's now a good time to upgrade my phone.

I've set my eyes on the next gen Nexus device from Google-the Nexus 4.
Though it interests me, there's a few of flaws of the device when it was released.

  • Same capacity as my current phone (16GB)
  • Lack of bundled headset (my Nexus S headset is half ruined)
  • Fragile glass back (haven't anyone learned from Apple's iPhone?!)
  • Generally the same UI as my Nexus S just that it has a bigger screen, and will get future OTA updates first from Google (though what can Google add to this device?)
  • Lack of bundled wireless charger
As compared to the Galaxy Note II which has almost the same specs,
  • Bigger screen
  • More productive with the S-pen
  • It has the S pen
  • It has a more user friendly interface
  • Better processor (by 0.1 GHz)
  • AMOLED screen
  • microSD card slot for expendable storage
  • FM radio
A few down sides I can think of,
  • It's huge
  • It feels plasticky
  • It's using Samsung's TouchWiz
  • Won't get Google Android updates  immediately like the Nexus 4
Though if I do get the Galaxy Note II and not really like it, I can still pass it over to my younger sister who can probably make more use out of the artistic S pen.

Decisions decisions.....

So much from just a bronze medal

Congrats to Pandelela Rinong for gaining the bronze in the 2012 Olympics.
....BUT, what's with all these 'REWARDS' going out to her.
Yea, she's our first female and medal winner outside badminton but from the looks of it, she's getting too much attention and rewards compared to Chong Wei who won the Silver.
It's been over 3-4 months since the Olympics and people are still showering her with money, cars, sponsorships, etc.
She's 19 Years of age, there's a lot more that she can improve in her game for the future rather than spoiling her with gifts and rewards.
Take it easy with the gifts so that it will not get the better of her. A reward is something to motivate her to do better in the next competition but if everyone from every corner keeps giving her rewards like she's getting now, it seems as if she won the gold medal. Let her grow and if she does get the gold next time, she deserves it.

Aunty, you called the wrong number

Some auntie called my number
Aunty : Hi is this Cathay?
Me: No it's not, you got the wrong number
Aunty : May I speak to Cathay please?
Me : There's no Cathay here, you got the wrong number
Aunty : Who's number is this then?
Me thinking *Why the heck do you want to know??*
Me: This is MY number. You called the wrong number.
Aunty : This is not Cathays number?
Me : No, you called the wrong number
*Then aunty hung up*
..... How many times must I tell you "WRONG NUMBER" before you understand???

Saddest Story ever.... T_T
