Product Placement on TV

An anime recently aired known as 'K-ON' has sparked the sales of a headphone model causing it to be sold out for the FIRST TIME.

The headphones which cost about $260 was bought by fans due to a character from the anime wearing it. This shows how effective product placing can boost sales of a product... as well as how extreme Japanese otakus are....


But damn... if I had the $$ I would've gotten headphones like those.

Summer 2009 (First half)

So summer has come, what to do?
Summer break? Mine only lasted for a week
Midwest games? Cancelled due to the swine flu outbreak
Work ? Couldn't land one
Classes? 7 hours a day, 4 days a week until mid June
Anything else? Basketball almost every other day

Spring exams

So the dreaded final exam week is upon most of the students in ISU. 4 full months of assignments, quizzes and exams are put to the test on this final exam paper.
Most of us studying all night trying to cram every bit of information we can think of.
Health ignored, caffeine consumed, meals skipped, 5-hour energy drinks being sold out at convenience stores...

and the results?

ChE382 : I think I did okay
Che357 : Horrible.... good thing homeworks and previous exams made up for my disaster
BBMB : Hope the grade is on a curve.....
Stat305 : Taking it in about 6hours....
