Wonders of Medicine

When you're feeling cold, having a fever, headache or trying to relief the pain of that knife stabbed behind your back, the wonders of science has provided us with drugs that reliefs us from the torture of life.

There are various kinds of medicines, usually we are given diluted doses (weak) rather than the concentrated ones which could probably cure us in a matter of hours. Reason behind that? Think of it as taking panadols(aspirins), usually, one would take just 1 tablet or two. Some might even go over the recommended dosage because it'll cure the headache in a shorter amount of time. What about these antibiotics? I recalled once receiving enough supply to last me for 3 days rather than the regular 5 days for the same sickness. If such is true for the commoner, what about celebrities or world leaders? How much are they actually taking in to stay healthy?

Say some leader of a country falls sick. He is then given the BEST treatment the world of medicine has to offer. If you noticed, you hardly see them falling sick from a common flu. How is their body holding up from all these medications? Isn't too much of a goodthing(drugs...) bad for their health?
