The Hunt for Ramen 2014 7/7! Achievement Unlocked!

Finally completed the list of ramen for 2014.

1. Ippudo Ramen @ Pavillion/Gardens/BSC
2.  Menya Musashi @ 1 Utama
3. Bankara @ Avenue K
4. Marutama Ramen @ Fahrenheit/ Avenue K
5. Hokkaido Ramen @ Pavillion
6. Bari Uma @ Jaya Shopping Centre
7. Taiko Japanese Cuisine @ Mont Kiara

The last ramen was Bari Uma at Jaya Shopping Centre. Shoyu based with tender chashu.
Delicious at first and then I've added with two dashes of garlic powder which helped bring out most of the flavor of the shoyu broth.
Halfway through, the broth's flavor was starting to overwhelm my mouth and became too salty. Noodles absorbed most of the flavor but a bit too salty for my taste.

So... my personal list of ramen based on taste/quality would be as follow.

For price wise, Menya Musashi still is the best ramen , price wise. Filling and delicious.

Weird Dreams : I'm not dreaming!!

So I had a dream last night where I was in the states again. Everything felt so real and believable. Then I told myself, 'this can't be a dream' but then I recalled that I didn't remember the flight journey here. 
So I woke up, saw my room in disappointment and went back to sleep to continue the dream and started yelling out in regret, 'This is a dream! ! Noooooooo! ! '. Grabbed a person next to me and told him, "You are a dream! I'm dreaming! This is all a dream!!"

After that, the dream continued as normal.... And I forgotten that it was only just a dream

So it seems that I thought I haven't been to Marutama before... but I found out I already have.
Ordered the signature dish and this time I remember what it actually tastes like; Maggi Mi Chicken Flavored broth but more creamier and thicker. Not bad.

So since that's the case... Now I have to make my way to Jaya Shopping Centre for BariUma Ramen

Just went to Taiko Ramen @ Mont Kiara
Had some of their signature 'Taiko Ramen', Bacon Scallops and Gyoza.

Bacon scallops was okay, bacon lacks sufficient flavor though.
Gyoza was average or as my friend calls it, "Typical reheated frozen gyoza".
As for the ramen, it was the cheapest in the list so far costing under RM20.
Broth tasted shoyu based but it's flavorful enough.
Ramen noodles was good, maybe on par with the other restaurants in the list.
The char shew however was forgettable. Barely tasted anything and possibly the worst thing in the bowl.
As for the egg, well, you can't really go wrong with it.

And with that, one more restaurant to visit before the list completes.

2 More to go. Hopefully I could be on target to complete the list before New Years!
Last I tried was Hokkaido Ramen and that was the best ramen I've had so far.

Weird Dreams : Everything makes sense until you wake up

Had a dream last night where I was driving to work alone.
Half way on my journey my car broke down. Luckily there was a good samaritan who helped me jump start my car and even offered to drive me to work. So I sat on the passenger seat and enjoyed the smooth journey to work.
Upon reaching my workplace, my colleague who was sitting in the back seat left the vehicle and I thanked the kind man for driving us. Just when I was about to disembark, I remembered I left my ID Card in my car which was parked where my car broke down. I told the driver to send me back there and informed him that I would instead drive my car to work instead of leaving it parked there.

....All of these made sense until I woke up
