Kenny Dalglish

So I was watching this documentary of Kenny Dalglish on liverpoolfc.tv
It shows his achievements during the late 80s/early 90s and what he's done inbetween the years before taking over Roy Hodgson as Liverpool manager.

This man is just amazing. Not only was he a phenomenal soccer player, he was even a player-coach during Liverpool's glorious days in the EPL. It was sad that the Hillsborough incident happened. It saddened and affected him a lot and along with the 4-4 draw in a Merseyside derby back then, caused him to leave Liverpool.

Even so, in 1995/1996, he managed to bring Blackburn the EPL title. He even went to funerals of almost every victim of the Hillsborough incident. How many people do you know would go to such extent.

Now, he's having the tough challenge of bringing back Liverpool to it's glorious days. Dubbed as King Kenny by fans, I wonder if the current squad can be saved from the slumps. Hopefully Kenny can do it better than Hodgson.

PS : It seems Babel's leaving Liverpool. Nothing to do with that Twitter remark of him but good to see that he still fights for the club even though he was leaving. But it's kinda dumb that he lost 10,000 pounds just before he left. Hopefully he gets more playing chances. He as a lot of untapped potential but 3 managers didn't really help him to bring it out. Good luck in your future club.
